Housing and Supportive Services

We provide housing through our own system and, when we cannot provide such housing, we facilitate access to suitable homes for senior citizens.

When possible, we provide privately-owned affordable housing and our rental options include single-family units, apartments and mobile homes.

We find that those seniors who choose to rent are often free of many of the financial burdens and physical responsibilities that impact homeowners. They’re also potentially eligible for subsidized housing under regulations like Section 8.

For those who already have housing, we work to assist older adults in securing funding that can remove potential health and safety hazards. These adjustments may include things like necessary repairs, modernizing an older home, making a home more energy-efficient to save on heating and cooling costs or making a home more accessible for older people with disabilities or special needs.

Why Our Mission Matters

The typical role of the extended family in caring for their elderly loved ones is shifting as those caregiving children leave the neighborhoods where they were born or raised.

In many instances, communication with aging relatives has been relegated to occasional visits and video calls. Those who are fortunate enough to live with their loved ones are often left on their own when those caregivers head off to work or travel.

This isolation can be painful and can often cause the elderly to abandon the very activities that once filled them with joy and purpose, eroding their physical, mental and emotional health. This diminished quality of life can be devastating for our older loved ones and it’s the reason that Housing With Hope exists today.

Because everyone deserves to live at home.

Buoyed by a vision of a community where everyone has a safe, decent and affordable place to call home, we’re committed to the concept of service enriched housing that supports the Elderly’s housing and personal needs to help them remain safely at home.
