Hello Friends of Housing with Hope!

We hope you’ve been enjoying the transition of the leaves and weather to the beautiful fall we’ve been having!

Here is what we’ve been up to over the last few months.

3rd ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, presented by Amanda Nadia Group

This year’s golf tournament exceeded all expectations, delivering an extraordinary experience for everyone involved. We want to express our sincere gratitude to both our golfers and non-golfers for joining us on what was the most spectacular fall day, as well as our generous sponsors, donors, event planning team, emcee extraordinaire Robyn Ross, dedicated volunteers, and the exceptional staff at Basking Ridge Country Club. It is because of this unwavering support that our event was another great success. We are particularly grateful for our two top-level sponsors for the third year in a row, Amanda Nadia Group and IQEQ. Thank you!

This year, our new sponsorship level: Sponsor a Senior, allowed us to invite 4 seniors from our community to participate in our event. Bob, Chris, Marlane and Tamara were so appreciative of the beautiful day on the course, getting to socialize with each other, and brushing up on their golf game!

Please take a moment to enjoy the photos taken by VeroLuce Photography and review this year’s group of sponsors and donors.

Our Golden Arts program is an ongoing continuous success thanks to our art instructor, Danielle Corso of Art Chick Designs, LLC. Week after week, Danielle introduces creative new projects to our participating senior housing facilities, giving the seniors the opportunity to learn something new. We are constantly amazed by the quality of work the seniors are creating each week!

Check out some of their great fall projects including hand painted tote bags, door decorations, and more! The seniors at Springfield even created the centerpieces for our Golf Tournament and they turned out amazing!

Golden Arts is made possible by funds from the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the NJ State Council on the Arts.

Housing with Hope is proud to be an official Bombas Giving Partner. Bombas is an apparal brand that, through their Giving Partners, has donated 75 million socks, t-shirts, and underwear to those at-risk, in need, and experiencing homelessness. With every apparel that is purchased, Bombas donates another.

As an official Giving Partner, Housing with Hope will be distributing 3000 pairs of socks this holiday season to low-income seniors and others in need throughout New Jersey.

We are committed to providing service-enriched housing that supports low-income seniors to remain in New Jersey and continue our painstaking search for additional properties to extend our senior housing offerings. If you know of a potential property that could be a welcoming location for low-income Seniors we would love to hear from you.
