Who We Serve
Despite a rapidly growing older adult population , our society can feel dismissive of the needs of the elderly and public funding is often no match for the needs of this unique group of people.
We serve aging adults who are navigating loneliness, isolation, and the all-too-common threat of homelessness by helping them access the resources and housing that allow them to continue to thrive.
Our goal is to honor parents and grandparents by giving them access to programs and services that enrich their lives with hope and purpose.

What We Do
Over the next decade, the number of elderly homeless Americans is projected to triple. The elderly, normally challenged with the agonizing and terrifying ordeals of isolation, despair and a myriad of health issues are now also facing homelessness at much higher rates.
Even when a loved one chooses to remain living independently, they often don’t have the means to access key services that would help them stay in their home or improve their overall quality of life.
There are profound gaps in some of the key services seniors tend to rely on, and that’s where Housing With Hope steps in to facilitate access to food, available community resources, and even proper health care. From teaming up with local senior centers, to providing additional programs and improved services, to holiday meal drives and virtual game nights, we’re connecting seniors to the communities they call home.

What to Expect in the Future
As we look ahead to 2021, we plan to add to our typical holiday meal events with a fashion show in April and a day-long trip to Monmouth Race Track this summer so that we can continue to provide opportunities for older adults to connect with their communities.
We’ll also be hosting a Charity Golf outing in the late spring to further support our mission.
Housing With Hope Makes a Difference in Union County and Central New Jersey
The Housing With Hope Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to provide housing assistance to older adults living alone and facing homelessness.
Our focus is on building strong local connections with organizations in the community that help those who are aging, living in shelters, struggling to find permanent housing or who need supportive services as they face homelessness.
This combination of housing, programs and services allows older adults to remain independent as they continue to be active and valued members of their local communities.
